I have enjoyed writing for many years. As a teenager, I wrote in a diary every day. When I was a stay-at-home mom, I started writing stories, articles, and devotionals. Several of them were published. Now that I'm retired, I am getting back into the habit of writing again, although I have been keeping a diary most of this time. Much of my time is spent volunteering with Joni and Friends, a Christian organization working with families affected by disability. I also do a lot at my church including teaching Sunday School, singing, and leading a Ladies Bible Study. My cat is the Joy of my username "joyandme" and is the one who keeps me from being lonely and bored.
