Christmas comes around every year
Some say to bring good cheer.
Christmas to some is all about gifts
But for some it will cause spats and rifts.

Christmas is to be a happy time
Even if you don’t spend a dime.
Christmas brings peace and good will
For those who remember Him still.

Christmas is about a child’s birth,
The greatest one on earth.
Christmas is a celebration of One
Who came for us as God’s own Son.

This Christmas let’s make sure we take
Time to worship and not just bake.
It is His birthday after all
So prepare yourself and get on the ball.

Take some time for Him today
To thank Him for lying on the hay,
Teaching us how to live,
And showing us how to give,

For laying down His life for our sin
So one day we may Heaven enter in.
So go have a party and celebrate
The One whose birthday is on this date.
