TITLE: Doc's Bashful Brother is...Grumpy | Previous Challenge Entry

Righting the lamp, the youngest in the group tried to cheer up his brother by putting the lampshade on his head and dancing with the lamp. Quick reflexes saved him from the flying boot that resulted.
“What has you so bent out of …aa..aa..choo…shape?” Living in the forest did nothing to help this brother’s allergies.
The first brother kicked a chair across the room before answering. “After all we did to welcome her, she runs off with another man. Wasn’t she happy here?”
“Happy! ‘Course she was pappy…uh, sappy…uh, ‘course she liked it here. She danced, she sang, she told us stories. This was her cream…uh, her team…uh, this is what she wanted.” The oldest of the brothers, Doc adjusted his glasses, looking over them at the disgruntled little man.
“I wish I was her prince. Maybe if I had kissed her when she lay dead…” The shyest of the brothers hid his red face behind his beard.
“She’s gone. Good riddance. Now we can get back to our lives. And if Happy isn’t so happy, all the better.” Grumpy crossed his arms and stomped out of the room, knocking Sleepy’s feet off of the ottoman as he passed.
“Happy’s jealous. He feels the same way Bashful does. He wanted to be Snow White’s prince.” Sleepy put his feet back up on the ottoman. “Life will never be the same again. Snow White will always be part of us.”
“We did our best to make her time here joyful and she throws us away like a dirty bath rag. ‘Someday my prince will come’. Didn’t she realize what she had here?” Happy set the chair back up and sat down with his face in his hands.
“Happy, it’s okay to be sad, even mad. But it’s wrong to throw a pemter tantum…uh, a temporal pant rum….uh, to sin in your anger by throwing things.” Doc put a comforting hand on his brother. “Even though it usually fits, no one expects you to live up to your name all the time.”
Several forest animals chatting excitedly drew attention away from Happy and to the window where they saw a deer carried a package with an attached note. Dopey opened the package and started dressing in the fine clothing inside.
“I ain’t wearing those! Even if this note does say it is for a formal dinner at the castle. ‘Special guests’ or not – I ain’t wearing ‘em” Grumpy handed the note to Sneezy.
“You will for Snow White’s cooking!” Sneezy put his hand under his note for a whole minute before continuing. “Happy needs to see this note. It mentions him by name.”
“The seven Dwarf brothers, Doc, Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy and Dopey, are requested be my Special Guests at a formal banquet introducing me to the residents of my new kingdom. Extra special places of honor will go to Happy and Dopey, who made life joyous even in the worst of times.”
“She knew what she had here, Happy. She had the best friends in the world. We’re still here and now she also has her prince.” Sleepy got up long enough to grab a blanket and lay back down.
“And tomorrow at the mine, you can pick the best tool…uh, duel…uh, the best gem for her gift.”

Just one thing threw me off a bit - I didn't understand for a while that it was Happy who was upset. From the title, I thought maybe it would be Bashful. I did eventually get my bearings, though.
You really did a great job keeping seven people distinct, and I know how it is when you have so much to say in so few words! Great job and good luck!
This is very creative and entertaining. Good job.
