When bells are ringing just for you
They musically tell youíre true
Their peals reveal the things you do
When bells are ringing just for you

For every time you tell a lie
Alarm bells make a clanging cry
Thereís dissonance of dismal sound
A noise like thunder fills the sky
For every unkind thing you do
A clamor comes thatís loud and long
When you act with malevolence
Appears a morbid mournful gong
Your every thoughtless selfish deed
Occasions sad cacophony
When you neglect those most in need
Occurs a somber melody
When bells are ringing just for you

The times you pray with thankfulness
For Godís amazing unmatched powers
The streams and lakes reverberate
Bells peal with praise for endless hours
For every time you read His Word
For gifts to Him you gladly bring
For love you show in Jesusí name
The golden chimes of heaven ring
You share Good News with hungry hearts
Redeemed ones raise their hands and sing
Carillons soar sweet harmonies
In homage to the King of Kings
When bells are ringing just for you

I like the contrasting sounds of the bells as you depict bad behavior and good behavior. Clever idea. I think a colon after the introductory sentence of each poetic paragraph would have been helpful to the rhythm of this piece. Other than that, I enjoyed this entry.

A challenging message that suddenly emerges through very simple language.
