Somewhere away out west,
Lived a usual buzzard family
In their standard buzzard nest.
Young buzzling Buford was enrolled
At Flight Academy.
Hopes were high that he would earn
His Carrion Degree.
He’d learn the basic principles
With flying rudiments,
And atmospheric patterns for
Detecting weather fronts.
Then Buford chanced upon an ad
In Flyers Magazine,
“Fly-by-Night shows buzzards how to
Scavenger cuisine.”
He quit the Flight Academy,
Decided he’d prefer
The evening class at Fly-by-Night
And left to register.
Fly-by-Night met once a week
And then just for an hour.
The only subject that was taught
Was Prey First Then Devour.
Buzzard basics were not taught
At shady Fly-by-Night,
Nor aeronautic techniques of
Cross country solo flight.
When it came to buzzard circling
On a buzzard scouting mission
He circumnavigated
A verbose politician.
When Buford took his SBT --
(Standardized Buzzard Test),
He got a C in Circling Prey
And F in all the rest.

I like the bouncy meter of this rhyme - just begged to be read out loud.
