Light interweaves its rays,
moved behind darkness
embraced the firmament,
laced and braided the heavens
Wreathed orbit like vine,
galaxies intertwined,
Day and night coalesce --
synchronize space and time.
God spoke
and universe adhered
without waver.
Conformed to its mission
that serves its Maker
The heart of teaching,
to the troth far-reaching,
Consider now my ways
as I observe and ponder.
Obey, observe, heed and uphold
Abide by Him and do as I’m told.
Clingingly watch,
Faithfully clasp
Yoked to Him, my kind Master
from ages of ages of old.
I devote my heart
My soul to Him I yield.
My spirit serves Him
my love undivided.
Delighting,
Serving,
Listening,
walking in step
closely devoted.
I abide by His kindness--
Make good of my vow.
He upholds His promise
He answers.
He takes to heart
Holds fast to His purpose
I cleave to truth
Understand reason
Why He made me
and the universe around.
His precepts
His Commandments
His faithful love
I honor by loving
My neighbor in charity
and grace.
As light beams into my life
Sparks of love and kindness
I adhere to do
Faith in action
Keep up on my knees
Walk in step
Do my mission impossible
His grace empowers me
With enthusiasm
I will follow through
Abiding…
Adhering…
His timeless love eternal
His goodness carries through all the days of my life.
