Each person is responsible for selecting the level of entry that best suits their ability, except for the following:
* Access to Level 4 (Masters) is only open to those members who have placed six times in the Editor's Choice (Top Ten overall), three awards in each of the first two levels.
Level 1 & 2 Combine - Challenge Beginner to Intermediate
This level is for those who are starting with the Challenge combined with those who have a bit more experience to help each other grow.
Please Note: As soon as an entrant in this level has placed THREE times in the Editor's Choice Awards while in this level, they must move up to Level 3.
Level 3 - Challenge Advanced
This level is for those who have been writing for quite a while and have grown to a point where their work is well honed and needs very little editing. They may have been published in some way (on-line or in print) and may even do editing for others. They may have some form of writing qualification or possibly even write professionally; however, this is not a prerequisite for Level 3.
Please Note: Level 3 entrants must move to Level 4 following placing SIX TIMES in the Editor's Choice, 3 while in Beginner/Intermediate and another 3 while in Advanced (or six EC placements total if started in Advanced). The criterion for entrance in the Masters' Level is based completely on the number of times a member has placed in the Editor's Choice; six total Editor's Choice wins. Once that criterion has been met, members must move up.
Level 4 - Challenge Masters
This level is for those who have placed three times in the Editors' Choice awards in our Level 1/2 combo and three times in Level 3, (or six EC placements total if started in Advanced). Once this criterion has been met, entrants must move to Level 4.
