I put together poetry of quiet existence.
Nuggets of truth with least resistance.
Smithereens of silver,
Served in gold platter.
Snippets of wisdom to sweet coexistence.
Harmonize and rhyme.
A masterwork of mine.
An art
Of love
I give you, let’s come to a state of calm.
Step one:
In a world of feud, act your portion of good
with people you agree in one accord.
Do two walk together,
unless they have agreed?
Aspirations, dreams, fragments of thoughts at ease.
Step two:
Align, attune to people you share life-filled colors.
If it is possible, as much as it fits in every story;
be at peace
with all, please!
Parents, siblings, superiors, children and neighbors.
Step three:
Let people be, but keep an eye for kindness.
They’re God’s every whit of goodness,
His likeness,
His joy.
Don’t pick fights, love them as you love yourself.
Step four:
Shards of pain in life, makes it hard to find solace.
Fret and worry either shape us to wholeness,
Or shatter us all day long,
Or be lyrics of a song.
“Come to Me, when sorrow tears you apart, and I will give you rest.”
Step five:
Our battles with the crooked, debris of powers die.
Peace within when we prayerfully submit for a time.
Law and order
Are at peril.
Hide in the shadow of the Almighty Most High.
Step six:
Body and heart fail: the core of my being yearns.
When the heart breaks, I come, God strengthens.
Forever my Portion.
It is well with my soul.
And my understanding stays in His presence.
Step seven:
Neither belittle nor trample those under you.
For they can undermine and secretly shred you.
Ants can sting.
Dust murk the eyes.
Treat them like gems who serve you, and you will be in a place of safety.
