COVID-19, though devastating in many ways, has birthed a large number of positive ideas and opened exciting original opportunities. You have learned new things, or at least new ways of doing things, that you would have never experienced if not for the pandemic. You see exciting adventures looming on your horizon, but you realize they require some growing and stretching on your behalf. Think taffy or playdough! My advice: embrace the changes; God is calling you to more incredible things. Your shift may be emotional, physical, or even financial, and it may come from an idea you never knew of before.
Yes, it is a new season on the earth. For believers in Jesus, this time is calling for increased faith and dependence on the Lord of all. It requires dwelling with the Holy Spirit and endeavoring to live only in His love, peace, and joy.
Maybe you feel the need to help because you have been grieved by the evil of the world, or you have been the object of persecution for righteousness’ sake. Rejoice! You will be filled.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6 (NKJV)
And, so, feeling the shift, be aware that what is transpiring is a perfect thing and run to it with all your might. Don’t be afraid of it, but be prepared to be challenged and, perhaps painfully, stretched. You know it will be worth it and you will never be alone.
“Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)
