In early history, birds were said to represent the soul in flight. In Christianity, one bird, the dove, came to represent the Holy Spirit. Regardless of how harsh our spiritual landscape may seem, there is never any need for despair. Just as a lone dove can bring beauty to an otherwise barren field, the Holy Spirit, our Divine Comforter, comes at the darkest, coldest moments to give us hope.
In Spring, as the world slowly awakens to lush rebirth, humanity is filled with anticipation of the coming season of warmth. New life will be blossoming at every turn. There is no force of darkness, regardless of how powerful it may seem, that can stop one single tree from flowering in springtime. Renewal will come.
It will come to the Earth, and it will come to our hearts.

One correction: "barbed wire," not "barbwire."
Very peaceful entry.
