Topic: FAITHFULNESS (10/07/21)
Sometimes I find it hard to keep my word about something such as trying save enough money to buy a certain item for somebody in the family. For example my daughter a certain bra. She talked about for days about getting one. We went and spent one for her to purchase online. We said that we would help to buy her just as long as she used some of her money, and she did. We are trying to save money for her tuition each month for her course at school.

I always pray faithfully each night. I pray my son and daughter would come to know the lord personally even though as children they attended church, and the elementary Christian school. I am always go work, and I never had sick day yet for almost 4 years.

As a teenager I always practiced playing on the piano each day when I took music lessons. I really liked it. Right now I seldom play the piano. It is really a keyboard, but I would play on it as I would a piano.

As a Christian, I always attended church each week until the pandemic affected in person worship services. Sometimes I would watch the sermons online through "Zoom Worship." At least get to see people who I attended church with.

I need to keep my word when I need to keep with bills or exercise. I have been swimming almost every week, and I have been walking almost every night. I should read the bible more often than I have been doing. I need to stop feeling lazy, and just read a verse or two.

I hope as a beginning writer you can find a writing partner. Reading each other's stories aloud helps you hear where a word is missing or something is not quite right. You are making a good start. Be sure to carefully preview (reading aloud helps here too) before hitting the Submit button. Keep writing. I suspect you have much to offer readers.

I felt a closeness with you as I read your article. Two friends standing - studying their reflections?
The previous comment is very wise because when writing, simply to make the delivery smooth, you need to be a little more formal than in every day speech. There’s a lovely note within your writing.

This entry comes off as a self-lecture as well as disappointment in oneself - which we all tend to do. That is how you can engage the reader. Stay with one or two of your topics and develop them. Use dialog, that always pulls readers in. Also, be sure to show, not tell, the reader how you have overcome these obstacles in your life. Everyone relates to that! Happy writing!
