Topic: Write something suitable for CHILDREN (05/31/07)
Jesus Loves Me this I know, because my teacher tells me so. Little Ones to Him belong, we may be weak, but through Him we're strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus Loves Me. Yes, Jesus loves cause the Bible, my Sunday School Teacher, and my Preacher tells me so!
Suitable teaching for children can be found each, and every Sunday in Churches all over the World. The loyal volunteers that take the time, and no money, to show children that yes there are adults who love you, and you can trust. My wife, and I do this every Sunday, and our 6th/7th graders are touching our lives, as well as us helping them in preparation for being Warriors when they enter into the secular High Schools. This is also the highlight of my week, as I watch these pre-teens become teens that are fully aware of what they are about to encounter in the form of 'peer pressure'. We not only teach, and share all of the truths, and resources through God's word. We, as well as they are very honest, and curious about the world, and what God's word has to say concerning their expectations.
The Bible, taught, and translated on a childs level is the only book that I recommend for not only my Sunday Schoolers, but also for old schoolers.

No doubt,the Bible is the most important book to read to and teach children! This challenge did require something suitable for children, not about children. All that we write should be for His glory! I can tell you have a heart to teach The Word. Praise God!

This is so true! A bit off topic (you are supposed to write for children, not about them), but this is a wonderful reminder for all of us.

Just saying that the opening variation on "Jesus Loves you" was a great idea. You could expand that in many ways.
Thank God for my past Sunday School teachers and the seeds they sowed in my early years.

This is such a good article, and fitting for the elementary grades. I feel that the article would encourage the children to listen and believe what they hear in Sunday School and Children's church.

Great testimony. Maybe not so much for kids as about kids but the point is clear to me.

The thoughts in the first paragraph could be made into poetry for children and expounded. It would be a lovely read. The rest could be eliminated as it is just infomation about working with children. I would love to see a childrens' poem evolve from this.
