We often try to script our way through life. Planning and organizing each day till we feel that everything is just right. In scripture, we are given guidelines, signs that lead us down the better path. Jesus teaches us about Love, Compassion, Forgiveness, and Peace. Each story is special—teachings that we are suppose to write on our hearts.
As we brush each stroke, our chosen color often speaks for us. Love is the boldest and strongest of all colors. It can hit you right between the eyes, or reach for you with the softest of hands and kindest of words. It is an emotion that surpasses all, a Ferris wheel of constant movement taking you through the highs and lows. It can lift you through its own brightness and satisfy you by its own warmth. Love is the color we strive to write about a signature mark of our own joy.
Compassion is a softer color that is sometimes not easily made, colors that are difficult to match. It will come in varying degrees like a tranquil snow fall, or the tip-tap of rain drops. It’s an emotion where the color is so thick that when sanded it shines like a gem. It may be hard to see, but when it’s finished, it shines in the presence of Love. It’s a story all on its own, separate from any page.
Forgiveness resembles the colors of citrus fruit. They are easy to spot and give off a glossy glow. Most seem sour when not fully ripe, but when its time, a savory treat emerges. We remember these colors the most, so much so that we write these moments in permanent ink. Refreshing, but not bitter, we take pleasure in knowing that a whole new page will start over again.
So lovely is the Peaceful color that grows from a tree, with all the colors of earth displaying itself leaf from leaf falling so poetically. Our hearts are weightless, open to love, and gentle like the mild breeze uninterrupted. Its sound is calming, light hearted and brightly a cursive pattern from beginning to end. Each word is deliberate but the heart needs little words.
Our stories are an investment something we want to share. Our words become our thoughts, and our pictures are our vision. Jesus once said, “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” Although our hearts are continuously written on, it is Love, Compassion, Forgiveness and Peace that will color our pages so we can teach others about Him.

God bless~
You could expand this to include more colors, as the rainbow is considered to have several more main colors.

There were a few typos, and I had a hard time seeing the relation to this week's topic, but a second read through helped me catch bits of the topic hinted throughout. Regardless, it was an enjoyable read and you have a talent for describing things in very vivid detail which goes far when it comes to writing.
Thanks for sharing!
Sometimes some will say that love is an action: If you love me, keep my commandments. (If we do something, it shows that we have it.)
Maybe the colors will help us live a life of love, compassion and forgiveness.
I thought you did well and unique with this one.
Your sentiments and emotive color descriptions were lovely.
