And the potential fall of Christ was stopped!
“It is written…”
And the enemy could not have his way.
“It is written…”
And a way was shown to human kind that by the power and spoken word of the Bible, the enemy is under our feet.
“It is written…”
Words, followed by the truths written in God’s Word, could impact an entire sequence of events as soon as they are spoken.
Jesus showed us the way to defeat any battle or temptation by standing on the truths written in the Bible. God knew the battles we would be facing in the world, so He provided guidelines for us through the writing of our fellow brothers to show us the way.
How much would we have lost if the truths about Jesus were never penned down on a piece of scroll throughout history so that we could study it today? If we had no such records, our paths could have ended in a different place.
He used a simple way of recording the legacy of Jesus for us—a legacy that changed the course of human kind’s destiny and opened a whole new world for us.
We are given an opportunity to write our own stories today, a chance to share our experiences and touch another human heart.
A written word at the appropriate time could change a life. It could bring healing or destruction, but the power lies in the message.
Today, we all sit with a pen in our hands and our lives are the piece of paper we use to write our stories. What are you going to do with it? Will you use it to leave a legacy for those after you? Or will it become a piece of paper thrown away and never opened again?
God found it useful to let His words be penned down on a scroll for us to read. Should we not write down our own stories and share it in the same way?
You are holding a pen in your hand and I invite you to write a new chapter in your life. Now, you have one question to answer, “What is your story?”
