There was never a time God did not love you. Before time began, God had you completely formed in His mind. God wrote every day of your life in His book of the Living before you were born. From the Amplified Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days of my life were written, before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.
There are 50-70 trillion cells in the human body. Teeth are formed six months before birth. At birth or shortly after, two-third of babies blue eyes turn brown. Two hundred muscles are activated to take one step. Your stomach acid is potent enough to dissolve razor blades. Your body gives off enough heat to boil half a gallon of water in 30 minutes. Isn’t God funny?
You have talents and gifts from God different from every single person since the beginning of time. You have a great proclivity to blend in. You are most effective when you stand out and showcase your differences. You are hear at this place, at this time for a purpose. From the Amplified Psalm 139:14-15 I will confess and praise You, for You are fearfully and wonderful, and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being formed in secret and intricately and curiously wrought (as if embroidered with various colors) in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].
A hurricane releases more energy in ten minutes than all of the world’s nuclear weapons combined. Isn’t God funny?
Just as Jesus spoke “peace” to the disciples and “be still” in the midst of a Katrina-like storm, His power is clearly discernable through nature. From the Amplified Romans 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made--His handiworks. So [men] are without excuse--altogether without any defense or justification.
The book of Matthew records four women of disreputable histories included in the genealogy of Jesus--Tamar (disguised as a prostitute seduced Judah, her father-in-law), Rahab (a harlot who hid two spies of Joshua), Ruth (a Moabite transferred her faith from the gods of her land, whose worship included child sacrifice, to YHWH her Redeemer), and Bathsheba (caught in an adulterous affair with King David). Isn’t God funny?
Nothing that’s happened to you surprised God. He will use you in spite of and because of everything you’ve been through. From the Amplified Isaiah 55:8-9 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Notice among yourselves, dear brothers, that few of you who follow Christ have big names or power or wealth. Instead, God has deliberately chosen to use ideas the world considers foolish and of little worth in order to shame those people considered by the world as wise and great. He has chosen a plan despised by the world, counted as nothing at all, and used it to bring down to nothing those the world considers great, so that no one anywhere can ever brag in the presence of God. (1Corinthians 1:26-29 from the Living Bible).
