The sun rose up from the edge of my sight line piercing the blue expanse, both upper and lower with dancing rays of orange and yellow. Pulsating like a red hot liquid heart, pushing darkness aside letting the new dawn emerge. When God said “Let there be Light”, our sun was born. This is a sight to behold, heavens light gushing forth warming this land of milk and honey, enabling creations multitude of miracles to start, and also rooting a foundation on which the Lord’s orchard of life would be planted. So generation after generation could broadcast Christ’s seeds of salvation, creating a likeness of its heavenly self. All earthly souls woven lovingly together by our Father into fruitful and vibrant foliage for Him to nurture, now and for eternity as He watches us grow in His Spirit and Word.

There was no ready set go, and there was no let’s do it on three, nor was there any hint of our world family tree laying in a state readiness, waiting patiently for it’s creator to command that it come forth and make itself known. Our Father decided to start His Holy Orchard in heaven where the care would be unprecedented and eternal for there was no room for imperfection. What a beautiful and gloriously stunning start to what would eventually lead to each and every one of us. But first our Father knew He had to be the light of all worlds, He had to shine brighter and illuminate an entire expanse of heavenly created bodies both terrestrial and extraterrestrial.

A great fireball in the heavens, our sun is likened to a God by many peoples of various nations and it’s easy to see why they worshiped this sun with fervor. Somewhere deep inside their souls they knew the heavens held all the answers to our entire universe. Our Father said these unique and utterly specialized worlds were for us to gaze upon. Fixations for the eyes of all mankind to study and wonder about, these expansive unknown worlds in our heavens are there for reasons only our Father knows. He said “I go to prepare a place for you”, and there is mention of mansions with many rooms, all these clues about our eternal resting place lead one to believe the heavens we ogle over will one day be our new home.

We do not know where the heavens start or if this immense space ever ends, what we do know is if each galaxy in our heavens is one of our Fathers mansions then there are many. It is written also that these mansions have many rooms, so beautiful are these rooms, we will find them hard to visualize their greatness as their beauty will be illuminated with the Lord’s holy light, a light with the brightness of the sun. The beauty and glory of the Fathers creation is to me unfathomable and I truly am anticipating my homecoming. To finally be given the knowledge and sight fullness to see things as the Lord sees them and to fully understand from the start, when his first “let there be” was uttered, until the almighty was pleased and said “It is good”. Only then will we as His children be able to truly comprehend the blessed work of Our Father who art in Heaven, and who’s Heavenly Kingdom shall one day come. Amen.
