Police Officer 1976 - 1995 - Corrections Officer 1996 - Present - Part-time Police Officer 2001 -Present - Part-time Deputy Sheriff assigned to local schools 2002 -Present - Proverbs chapter 3, verses 5 and 6 of the Kings James Version of the Holy Scriptures says; - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. - Over the years I learned through scripture that all good gifts come from God. My poetic talent or any talent is not given to bless the talented, but it is given to be a blessing to others, so I write to show God that I appreciate the poetic gift He has given me and I trust God to use it for the purpose He has for you (the reader). So as you read my inspired poems, I pray that God opens your heart to the blessings He has for you. I further pray that it ignites a desire in you to seek out a personal relationship with God almighty through His Son Jesus Christ. If you already have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus, then I pray these poems encourage you to continue to shine the light by sharing your talents to bless others. And don't forget, these poems have been inspired as a result of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He was the one knocking at the door of my heart. It took me a while to answer the door, but when I did, the devil ran out and Jesus came in. PRAISE THE LORD JESUS!!
