Come back into our school house,
put guns where they belong,
forgive us for our ignorance,
we know now that was wrong.

Prayer has been illegal.
No commandments on the walls,
teachers even fear the kids,
there’s chaos in the halls.

Nine one one’s not quick enough
and it will never be,
while prayer is just one breath away,
from your authority.

So hear this humble solemn prayer
and end this silly rule.
Fill our hearts with common sense,
come back into our school.

Amen
