The season’s joy is marred by fear.
Our moral system’s in decay,
And values crumble day by day.
So many have financial woes,
And of the future, no one knows.
The laws of God are cast aside,
And Satan’s rule is far and wide.
Take heart, my friends, at what I say:
Our God is with us still today.
In times of such uncertainty,
The Lord’s our only surety.
The Good News that the angels told,
Heard gladly by the men of old,
Was of a baby born to be
The Savior for humanity.
For sinners all, He came to save,
And to that end, His life He gave.
He rose again that we might be
With Him through all eternity.
His Spirit now abides within,
And though we know not where or when,
We do know He’ll return again
To take His followers with Him.
Each promise that God gave is true.
He knows the plan He’s made for you.
For every problem that you face,
In love, He’ll keep you by His grace.
So light a candle; say a prayer,
And know that God is with you there.
Rejoice this Christmas that you’ve heard
His story given in His Word.

The holidays are not a bright time for everyone, so we must remember His hope. Love it.
