cowgurl: hey-HAY there chick!!!

chicadee: omg … cowgurl! so how’s it goin’ in the city … have ya found a new best friend?

cowgurl: sorta the pits actually … think I’ll just buy an inflatable Raggedy Ann swim toy I saw in a sporting goods window ‘n call it quits

chicadee: whaaaaaa….?

cowgurl: Raggedy could be my best friend – lol – um, but I think I should rename her … whadda ya think?

chicadee: how ‘bout Grace … good symbolism

cowgurl: hmmmm …

chicadee: c’mon, or Gracie, then

cowgurl: ok … i might have to have a l’il talk with her before she comes home with me though

chicadee: an interview … that makes sense … see if she's committed

cowgurl: and low maintenance … lol

chicadee: gotta check her credit record – lol

cowgurl: yep … could be hidin’ somethun behind her back …

chicadee: a wolf in sheep’s clothing

cowgurl: hate it when that happens!

chicadee: now gurl … are you really buying this thing?

cowgurl: abso-YESSUM-lutely

chicadee: THERE ya go, that’s the spirited old cowgurl I know

cowgurl: i'd hate ta burst her bubble though … or take the wind out of her … she could blow her top… lol

chicadee: literally … ka-blewie

cowgurl: rofl - think she might fly off?

chicadee: like a stuck balloon!

cowgurl: no … fly off the handle?

chicadee: well, don't know about any handle …

cowgurl: hate to leave her flat…lol

chicadee: poor thing!

cowgurl: maybe i could pump her up again with a good talk …

chicadee: omg!

cowgurl: I’m imagining … she’ll sit there lookin’ blank and never say a word! Then I’ll ask her, “Hey, whadaya think about a boble study?”

chicadee: boble study - is that a typo, or a noble bible study? lol

cowgurl: “Oh, I see Gracie....ya just gonna sit there?”

chicadee: and look pretty … yes … it's her job …

cowgurl: “Oops sorry ...ya can’t sit.”

chicadee: maybe lean her against sumthun’ …

cowgurl: “Well...just lay there then.”

chicadee: flat on her back, thank you very much …

cowgurl: “Wanna prop up?”

chicadee: hay now … didn’t I say that already?!

cowgurl: sigh … might be nice to talk to someone like Gracie … she can’t argue … lol

chicadee: true

cowgurl: she just stares at ya … but i like that

chicadee: with those big brown cow eyes … sure

cowgurl: I’d have her undivided attention and she couldn’t reject me

chicadee: she’d be patient, too

cowgurl: her face has that pleasant look like she's dreamin'

chicadee: sweet ... i like her already

cowgurl: yeah … me too

chicadee: cool, gurl!

cowgurl: she might not ride very well in the car seat if I wanted ta go out for lunch though

chicadee: ummmm well, use a seatbelt … betcha she’d fast and forego the whopper

cowgurl: maaaan ... cheap! And she’d LISTEN … like if I wanted to get deep into heart-level stuff

chicadee: deep is where it's at, gurl … shallow is for fraidy cats

cowgurl: lol

chicadee: it helps ta have a best friend to go deep with ya

cowgurl: oh yeah … fo sho … that’s why I need Gracie …

chicadee: exactly … only she couldn’t pray for ya …

cowgurl: soooooooo, bad idea huh … i woulda squeezed all the air outa her anyhooooo….

chicadee: no ya wouldn't

cowgurl: lol … yes, huh!

chicadee: bet she's got an auto-pump … lol

cowgurl: well ... that costs extra … lol

chicadee: it's all free of charge - God's economy, you know

cowgurl: i can’t afford all the extras...

chicadee: HAY …you’re not listenin’ gurl … the super – duper Gracie I’m talkin’ about is a FREE GIFT

cowgurl: oh well … in that case … I’m ready … bring her on!

chicadee: okey dokey, i’ll start prayin’

cowgurl: remember the extras

chicadee: super-Grace!

cowgurl: super-duper … lol

chicadee: you can count on it … God’s gonna send you a friend better than anything we can make up … even huggable little blow-up Gracie … lol

cowgurl: yea, hope so

chickadee: maaaaan ... gotta run … time’s up! Hubby’s cryin’ for lunch

cowgurl: go feed the poor thing some country vittles, chick

chicadee: yup … sloppy joes … hey … I’ll be prayin’ for that new friend

cowgurl: thanks

chicadee: now **poof** yourself outa cyberspace gurl … your turn to go first

cowgurl:**poof** back atcha … lol

chicadee: **POOF** - there! byeeeee!

Okay-this is GOOD! I love the style and format, it's hilarious to get a look into something like this. It's too funny and real at the same time. Kudos to creativity! ^_^

This is very clever, and I am amazed you could write this whole thing as IM. Personally, I don't do IM, and it was hard for me to get through this -- but that's just my preference/opinion.

If I were hip to IM...I might have found the humor; but again, not the writer's fault, just an opinion from a non-hipster. But for those that are into this sort of thing - I'm sure it's super, as alot of work went into it. Kudos.
