He wants my hands to fashion the sacred candlestick
for His flame.
It is to burn continually:
day and night
forevermore.
He says it is to be fashioned from one lump of gold.
He says it is possible.
This lamp will be hammered out of pure gold
beaten and molded into one central branch,
from which the other 6 branches will spread out and upward.
An open almond blossom
shall be on every branch.
All 7 branches will be topped with an almond flower -
the petals opened to host the oil lamp cups
that will inundate the Holy Place
with light.
My master wants me; He is the skilled Craftsman.
He wants His hands to fashion this sacred candlestick
for His flame.
His blood has made me holy … sacred…
set apart for His flame.
It is to burn continually:
day and night
forevermore.
The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame…*
He says I am to be fashioned from one lump of gold.
I am seen as gold, refined by the fire?
He says it is possible.
This lamp will be hammered out of pure gold
beaten and molded into one central branch,
from which the other 6 branches will spread out and upward.
I know that one branch – His name is Jesus.
Beaten and molded for me, as I am molded into Him
to become one with Him-
as He is one
with His Father.
An open almond blossom
shall be on every branch.
The fruit lies on the branches that are grafted into Your vine; the branches that reach outward to others and upward to You. I cannot, shall not, bloom or grow without You.
All 7 branches will be topped with an almond flower -
the petals opened to host the oil lamp cups
that will inundate the Holy Place
with light.
Oh my Lord! Make me your host. Fill me with your pure oil and place your wick in me…then set me on fire! Flood this holy place with light, and may it never
ever
ever
ever
die
until I reach the eternal light
of Your everlasting glory.
Amen.

How beautiful. How utterly beautiful. That's my heart's cry but I know, oh how I know, that before filling me with His pure oil I must first be cleansed of every impurity and made ready to be His host.
This was not only beautiful poetry but a challenge to all who name the name of Christ. Thank you.
