Lead people through the wilderness like Moses
Shout down walls like Joshua
Demonstrate faithfulness to family like Ruth
Judge wisely like Samuel
Be a great queen like Esther
Possess amazing patience like Job
Write psalms and sing songs and play a lyre like David
Have great wisdom like Solomon
Prophecy like Isaiah
Connect dry bones like Ezekiel
Pray in a lion’s den like Daniel
Dress like John the Baptist and baptize people in the river
Be blessed among women like Mary
Preach like the Apostle Paul
Have visions like the Disciple John

But you can . . .
Accept God’s gift of salvation,
Provided by the sacrifice of His son.
Give your heart to the Lord.
Devote all your strength
And dedicate every talent
To serve the one true Living God
With complete faith in Him.
Be obedient to His Word
And walk in the ways which He directs.

Then whether or not you will be famous in this world,
Your name will be inscribed in the Book of Life.

Great job! I started to skip over this one (I'm not much good at critiquing verse), but then I read the first few lines and, before I knew it, I had read the whole thing. It was so easy to read and so captivating in a very simple, but eloquent, way.

This is what I consider inspired writing. I was eagerly reading though each famous Bible character, enjoying being able to identify their fame. Then I loved your personal message that soared with you final two lines. You truly bless your reader with the message of hope.

This is perfect. I've seen a few other entries try to do what you did but weren't able to pull it off quite as good as you. Your word count was less but you got right to the heart of it all and that made a huge difference.
