Come home with Martha and throw off your apron.
Jesus is teaching; come inside and sit down.
Put your worries away; Sit down beside Mary.
Forgetting your dusting for the dust of his feet.
Your work will still be there tomorrow.
Come home with Peter from Herod's prison.
Home where the faithful are praying for you;
Knock at the door and bring them an answer.
"I was lost, but you prayed, and the Lord set me free."
God's plan for your life is freedom in him.
Come home with John Mark in the house of his mother.
Where believers encourage the souls of the young;
Hear the good news; take heart in the fact that
Mistakes of your youth are forgiven, forgotten.
Barnabas comes now to encourage you.
Come home with Nymphas of Laodicea.
Where you meet in the midst of wealth beyond counting.
Account for yourself and repent; God is waiting.
Jesus stands at the door; hear him knock; let him in.
He will enter, embracing; Your new life begins.
Come home with Eutychus and study the scriptures.
Late in the night; when you've had a full day.
Stay alert, though you're tired, but don't sit in the window.
Lest you fall and become, to your friends, anecdotal.
Be awake to God's word and its message to you.
Come home with believers, who coming together
Bring fellowship, food, and a friendly hello.
Weep with each other or dance with rejoicing;
Sing, study scripture, pray; simply believing.
The door stands open; They're welcoming you.
Come home.

I think my favorite stanze is about Eutychus! I eagerly read waiting for the window comment. You've shown a great knowledge of Scripture with all of these. Very nice work/writing!!
