As I turned off my car and pulled my keys out of the ignition, I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open. I picked up my computer case and my purse and started for my house, when I heard a man's voice behind me.
"Hello, I am your new neighbor Tom Mitchell," the tall man said and extended his hand.
I had my purse and computer in one hand while extending the other, "Hello, welcome to the neighborhood."
My new neighbor stared at me with a whimsical look, then smiled before he replied, "Wow, now that is what I call a welcome!"
There I stood pants down around my ankles under the bright street light! Well, needless to say I tried to avoid our new neighbor for the longest time.
Note: This is a true story and happened exactly as I have written it. For the longest time I avoided my new neighbor...But God told me to "lighten" up and I realized that it was a matter of pride, and so I let it go.
Proverbs 16:18 (NKJV) Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

I've heard of being "caught underwears," but that was terrific!
Not only that, it's almost on topic!
Its well written. Thanks for sharing it!
I’ll bet the neighbor also got a few laughs retelling his experience of it. Glad you were able to move past the embarrassment and be able to laugh at it. I’d say this truly fits the topic! LOL
Um, I mean, I'm so sorry.
