all of what will someday be
holds silent breath,
for the Artist is walking.
The Master Artist is singing,
singing the Word, the Word of Life,
“Let There Be!”
“Let There Be!” angels echo, “Let There Be!”
And look! Behold!
Emerging from the vibrance of His Voice,
the Vine appears
in newborn golden splendor,
growing in the glow of God-Light,
unfurling green in grace before unseen.
“Bring Forth!” the Creator sings, “Bring Forth!”
And Behold! The Fruit appears
Globed and growing,
expanding in the Aria
of the Master’s Living melody,
the melody of Life beginning,
the melody of Life unending.
Leafy curtains pull aside.
Arching tendrils bow before Royal Flesh,
now reddening into violet opulence
by the pleasure of the King.
Deepening hues pulse purple
in the song of Life,
Life Divine.
Look now, Behold,
as the Creator cradles and lifts high
in the crevice of His Holy Hand
the Virtue of the Vine,
Full Fruit
of the Great I AM.
Oh, hear the minor harmonies of angels
as all of what will someday be
now trembles with a tear.
The Master Artist,
cradler and upholder
of the tender Grape,
in anguish
Crushes in His Hand
the Perfect Fruit.
Wine flows
a Living Stain
along the creviced path
of the Creator’s Hand
covering all,
covering what will someday be.
The Great Crimson River flows
into the world to be
and into eternity.
Hear the Master Artist singing,
singing His Sacrifice
of Love Divine,
and Life unending.
