My love affair with writing poetry began at the age of 13 when I wrote a poem that is still one of my favorites to this day. Three years later I entered that same poem in NJ's Teen Art's Festival. My poem was among one of several chosen to be read in front of many important people such as our governor. It was very exciting for me to have my writing recognized this way and to hear other teen's share their poetry... Being a ham somewhat and loving to act just as much write (I was in school plays and one musical) I love to read my poetry almost as much as write it. I love doing Bible Study, (I especially have enjoyed doing Beth Moore's Bible Studies); I also have been inspired by the study of Bible Prophecy; listening to Hebraic teacher's like Perry Stone, is one of my joys in life! I love food -- thinking about it; making it and eating it, of course! I have one 29 year old son of whom I am very proud who also is a writer. He seranades me with his guitar playing which is a delight!. He has a challenging mental health disorder and I am his advocate; care giver and best friend. I love to sing and worship. I sing the Psalms sometimes during my special time with the Lord as well as writing other songs. I have had the privilege of having 3 of my songs arranged by my former choir director who now is a music minister in Budapest. I sung one of those songs as a duet on a Sunday morning which was very nerve-wracking, yet fun. I have had several of my poems published in Church bulletins and writing publications for writer's groups I have been in. Thank you all so much for the opportunity to grow as a writer as well as to share with you all. Many of you who I have had the privilege of chatting with already have been so warm and kind, showing forth the love of Christ!
