saturating me;
raining down on me
forming droplets
of His love.
It is enough,
His marvelous love.
I find over and
over again
no matter how
much pain
I am in,
He wants to
bear it with me,
if only I let Him.
The wounds of this life
sometimes are blaring,
the world --
even the church
seem uncaring.
I long to be touched
and changed,
not easily offended;
for I don't want
life's cares to
matter so much.
Like the flame
of a candle
dancing in the wind...
Its wax melting
down
ignites
something within.
I crawl onto the lap
of my Lord.
Enveloped by
a fragrance
I adore.
Allowing Him
to chase away
the tears
once more
as He
holds me
through my pain.
I step closer
into the folds
of His robe
...They drip
with spices
untold.
I forget the rain
that came
pelting down
on me
causing me
to be so lonely,
And huddle closely
with my Lord.
