Too much time spent pointing our fingers
A fast paced life that takes no prisoners
The violence and sex from the latest singers
No melodic sounds like the old day bell ringers
But with all the record numbers of listeners.
To many times being made uncomfortable
Stranger and stranger the truth moves past
Accountability is easily unforgettable
The picture becoming clearer and detectable
Horror filling as the face is cast.
I step away from the mirror in betrayal, count on it!
