Our sin was what caused God the Father to forsake the Humanity of Jesus. This took place (2) while He was on the cross, during the hours when the sin debt of the entire world was placed on His humanity.
The idea that God, being a god of love and mercy, will sooner or later allow everyone to reside in Heaven is totally contrary to the Rev. 20: 15 end result, awaiting all unbelievers throughout the course of human history.
Matthew 7: 14 tells us that only a minority of the human race will find the road that leads to Heaven.
The God of love and mercy is also a God of justice. The love of God desires that all men be saved (3), but His justice requires that the sin debt for every sin be paid in full.
Therefore, before God could offer His 1John 1: 9 forgiveness and restoration, the sin debt (that separates the human race from being in a relationship with Him) had to be paid.
There never has been, is not now, nor will there ever be the means for Fallen Man to make himself right with God. One can only be made right and kept right with God through individual faith in the one and only (4) means that He has provided.
On the day Adam and Eve sinned, they died spiritually, and received a fallen nature. Thereafter, this spiritual death condition and fallen nature is passed down through the male partner (5) at conception (6) to every human being that comes into this world.
As a result, every member of the human race comes into this world physically alive, but spiritually dead, separated from God, and in the need to be born-again.
No fallen human being could ever qualify as the spotless (sinless), substitutionary, sacrificial, Lamb of God (7), having the capacity of making atonement for sin.
Mary was not sinless (8).
It was the fact that it is through the male partner that the spiritual death condition and the fallen nature is passed down to the incoming generations (9), that made it possible for Mary (but not Joseph) to be used by God to deliver the sinless humanity of the Lamb of God, in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mary conceived by the power of God the Holy Spirit (10), carried, and gave birth to our Lord’s humanity at the First Advent.
It was a part of the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ to remain sinless throughout His entire time here on Earth (11).
By doing so, He retained His status as the sacrificial and substitutionary Lamb of God, taking our place, in order to pay the sin debt of the whole world (12) while on the cross, by shedding His atoning blood.
As of the Church Age, individual souls benefit by this atoning Work when he or she chooses to believe, when presented with the unadulterated Gospel Message encapsulated in John 3: 16, 18.
No number of “religious” traditions of Man (13), amount of ministry, good behavior, or good deeds can regenerate (14) one’s dead spirit, or generate one second of Eternal Life, needed (15) to reside in Heaven.
Such things are a part of one’s post (after) salvation spiritual life, but have nothing to do with obtaining or retaining eternal life.
In God’s timing, God the Son left Heaven and came to Earth, taking on the type of (sinless) humanity that Adam had, prior to the Fall of Man.
Under the power of God the Holy Spirt (16), His humanity was conceived and delivered through Mary.
Our justification (being made and kept right with God) is not of our own doing through religious activity, human effort, or input.
“Those whom HE predestined, HE also called; and these whom HE called, HE also j-u-s-t-i-f-i-e-d; and these whom HE j-u-s-t-i-f-i-e-d, HE also glorified (Rom.8.30 NASB2020).”
Until one is first born-again, he is spiritually dead. Just as a physically dead person can’t do anything in the natural realm, a spiritually dead person is incapable of doing anything (or having anything done for him) that matters in the spiritual realm.
ALL human effort, including the religious traditions of Man independent of God, never were, are not now, or will ever be the means to be justified.
