We must be careful not to put God in a box, limiting our understanding of His essence to only what can be defined by human language.
The Almighty God of the Bible is omnipotent (all powerful).
His power is unmatched anywhere in the universe, and under its control, all other sources of power are kept in check.
With His power, the course and the otherwise immutable laws of nature that He authored can be put on hold, reversed, or accelerated to fulfil His will.
The God of the Bible is omniscient, having full knowledge of all that has taken place; all that is taking place; an all that will take place, on Earth and beyond.
There are great Biblical examples of His omniscience.
With His omniscience, He authored the Divine Decree(s), BEFORE (1) the creation of Man, detailing global (2) and individual (3) events that are to take place throughout the course of human history.
Only a God with omniscience can grant the exercising of free will to billions of angelic and human beings, and yet retain sovereign control and arrange for a specific outcome to fulfill His will.
The second was His full knowledge of every sin that every human being had ever, or would ever, commit throughout the course of human history.
He had to have had this knowledge in order to have placed the world’s full sin debt on the atoning, crucified, Humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
Otherwise divine atonement would have to be repeated again and again.
Forgiveness of confessed sin (4) is NOT based on ANYTHING, but the fact that it was already paid for by the atoning Work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross.
The God of the Bible is omnipresent, being anywhere and everywhere at the same time.
The same God that is enthroned in the 3rd Heaven (5), that created and sustains the vast physical universe (6), is the same God that indwells the physical bodies (7) of all Church Age believers during the course of their post (after) salvation spiritual life, here on Earth.
The presence of His ministering Spirit within us is a part of the assuring guarantee that born-again believers have, regarding their eternal future (8).
Unless one is an atheist, the concept of God enthroned in Heaven is not too difficult to accept.
After all, do not secular monarchs (and some persons in positions of religious authority) adorn themselves with crowns and seat themselves on elaborate thrones?
Would we not expect more from Almighty God?
Many Biblical passages refer to a divine throne room in Heaven.
Yet, as indescribably awesome as Almighty God is, He desires to have fellowship, and a personal, individual, intimate, relationship, and walk with every single soul that He creates.
God has made this possible for everyone, but He forces His plan of salvation on no one.
To make reconciliation possible, divine justice had to be satisfied by the payment of the world’s sin debt.
There was NOTHING that Man could do to pay this debt.
Through in incarnation and crucifixion of God the Son, the sin debt was paid in full by the atoning Work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross (9).
Those who BELIEVE this are born-again (10). God regenerates (11) the dead spirit of those who are born-again (12). God seals (13), marks for identification as a permanent child of God, all who are born-again.
All born-again believers are Heaven bound, having become the recipients of the irreversible, gift of eternal life.
The devil, and those who do his bidding, dispute and refute each step of this process along the way, and offer a host of false teachings and practices in their place.
Many of these false teachings and practices have found a home in many areas of what is generally considered to be a part of the Christian Community.
Reconciliation with Almighty God (by being born again) is not only possible, but is required if one is to establish eternal residency in Heaven (14).
Being born-again permanently settles the “where one will spend eternity” question with Almighty God, but this is only the beginning of one’s post salvation spiritual life here on Earth.
Almighty God desires to establish and build an intimate daily walk with all of His children, while HERE in Earth.
