Sometimes an allegory. It flows in many ways.
Sometimes it is an image that pops into my head. Sometimes a dream inspires, while sleeping in my bed.
Sometimes creations flow through hands into some clay
Sometimes a painting rushes when my brushes have His way.
Sometimes a symphony streams forth from flutes and strings.
Sometimes new innovations spring forth amazing things.
Sometimes a word of wisdom, shared with ones I love.
Sometimes an apt discernment, imparted from above.
Sometimes it is as simple as a hug in time of need,
Or acts of loving-kindness that plant the Gospel seed.
It overflows with joy; it soothes in times of strife.
I love the Holy Spirit, God's river full of life!
