every year
children badly hit especially
wars and pandemic causes
acute hunger
He who feeds
five thousand
men, women and children
Does He still care
when hungry souls parish
He who sees
the sparrow falls
and knows
my every hair
Will He ever care
Coming in human skin
He feeds the hungry
through World Vision
Tear Fund
Barnabas Aid and so forth
For I was hungry
you fed Me
When did we ever see You hungry
and fed You
asked the righteous
When you did it
to the least
of My brothers
and sisters
you were doing it to Me
Come You the blessed ones
Inherit the Kingdom
prepared for you
from the creation
of the world
Let me not take life easy
eat and drink
and be merry
building more and bigger barns
to store surplus gains
While the poor
young and old
parish without food
without sparing
any thought for them all
Let me not harden
my heart
to the cry of hungry and needy—
for once I was poor and hungry
till into my life You came
