offered to the undeserved
withholding the due
to the expected—
it is willingness to let go
Where can I get special strength
needed to cope with
tough issues
I constantly face
today and tomorrow
Where can I find wisdom and strength
to face life challenges
to resolve them
beyond my human ability
and understanding
I need grace expressed In forgiveness
wisdom and special strength
Life without grace
is truly harsh and difficult—
I’m a mere mortal
Therefore I humble myself
looking up to heaven
to draw on His grace
for the needs
of life on earth
My model is Christ
whose life is full of grace
forgiveness, wisdom and strength
in all He does
He does it well
I imitate Christ
on Him I fix my eyes
as I run my earthly race
with patience and endurance
I press on towards the goal
Constantly I pray
not only I may experience
and stay in the Father’s deepest love
but also Jesus’ richest grace
and the Spirit’s closest fellowship
