Alone, yet not alone
when I sit at my desk
to write down my thoughts
to share what’s from my heart
He’s always there

Alone, yet not alone
as I stroll in the park
enjoying the fresh breeze
hearing the birds calling
He’s always there

Alone, yet not alone
when I ride on the bus
watching the cars and trucks
speeding by —I’m deeply aware
He’s always there

Alone, yet not alone
as I wait at carpark
for my wife’s return
from the Rehab
I know He’s also there waiting

Alone, yet not alone
when so push the wheelchair
He whisper into my ears
you’re doing it for Me
I too sit in the wheelchair

Alone, yet not alone
after giving thanks
for the food
I know You’re there
to bless it unto my body

When I retire
to my bed
I say my prayers
I know You’ve promised
to be there till I get up

Whether I lie on my sofa
or sit at my desk
for some quiet moments
I know You’re there
You’ll never leave me
