hide here from the Lord?
When I have given up
in sin I can’t afford.
All of my yesterdays
are coming to an end.
Lost in a world of sin
I’m lost without a friend.
In all of my foolish
I know just what to do.
I just procrastinate
and do not carry through.
But I’m always sinning
even when I pray.
I see the face of hell
in every single day.
Evilness surrounds me
I’m trapped here in this cage.
I hate the shape I’m in
I cry with mortal rage.
Father, can you help me
I know you’re always here?
But the way I live my life
I lost and full of fear.
I know that you love me
but I am still a fool.
Trying to live my life
and Father that’s not cool.
Father, please don’t give up
help me to understand.
Through these clouds of darkness
reach out please give a hand.
Give the strength that’s needed
to help me find the way.
Father, I’m so frightened
God, hear me as I pray.
Coming through the darkness
I see a Mighty Light.
I fall down on my knees.
my darkness turned to Light.
“I’ve been always here son,
I see all you go through.
I can see you struggle
with all you try to do.”
“I will take you burden
and make it white as snow.”
Father, can you show me,
teach me what I should know?
Now a peace surrounds me
in every single day.
I trust Him with my soul
and He has shown the way.
If you are deep in sin
Do not procrastinate.
Ask it will be given
He’ll open up the gate.
