and then we walk away.
Not listening for the answer
to what God has to say.
Then we say He’s can’t hear us
that He doesn’t care.
If only we would give Him time
we’d know that He was there.
But we are so busy, no time,
must run along.
Then we go on sinning
not knowing right from wrong.
Then we blame it on God
He doesn’t answer prayer.
And we look around
can’t see Him anywhere.
We look with blinded eyes
never seeing things.
We just stumble all around
with all the pain that brings.
Never wanting to talk to God
for all the things we do.
we keep blaming Him
for all that we go through.
Will you please remember
it’s you that’s given up.
All the while He’s standing there
with His loving cup.
He is there He’s waiting
for you to stop awhile.
Just to listen to the wind
and He will make you smile.
He will never leave you
He’s waiting just for you.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and He will see you through.
