As we go through life with all it's trials and tribulations, where do we look for answers? Some difficulties may be short term and we can see the sunshine at the end of the tunnel. Other problems may be long term such as physical, material, or spiritual that we have a real concern and they may continue to give us daily thoughts of how to resolve them.

Do we look to the Lord with prayer for answer to our difficulties as we should as Christians? Or do we think we can solve problems on our own with our limited knowledge of how things may turn out? Physical problems seem to multiply as we enter the senior and sunset time of our life here on earth. Our Lord has a plan for us and will call His believers home when it is His will.

We see in the Bible where it says in several places an important message. -- Matthew 5:26-30 "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"

We may be concerned about a physical problem but worry the Bible tells us is a sin. Our Lord when we accepted Him as our Savior, told us He would be there with us and never forsake us. Let us turn our burdens over to our gracious and loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and put our Hope, Trust and Faith in Him. The Lord knows the roadmap He has for us, and while we may not fully understand it, He knows what is best for us.

We see some powerful words of assurance in Psalm 145, verses 17 to 20, "The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The Lord is nigh to all that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fill the desire of them that fear him; he will also hear their cry; and will save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love him, but all the wicked will he destroy."
