Help! You won’t meet resistance.
Help! I require Someone bigger than myself.
Help!
When I was fresh, so much fresher than this moment,
I never needed anybody’s aid – that was my intent,
But now that time has past I'm not so self-possessed,
Now I get it, my mind has changed and doors are not compressed,
Help me when you can, I'm feeling blue
And I do appreciate all the things You do,
Help my feet get walking back to You,
Won't You please please help me?
And now my life had change in oh so many ways,
My independence now has vanish in the haze,
But now and then I don’t feel sure of myself
I know that I need You – answers won’t be found on my shelf.
Help me when you can, I'm feeling blue,
And I do appreciate all the things You do,
Help my feet get walking back to You,
Won't You please help me?

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.
You did such an excellent job - we could sing your lyrics to the old tune and they would fit perfectly.
