A Mind in Transition

God blesses a mother’s affection,so tender yet fervent. Tears trickle down her cheeks, staining her eye makeup; she weeps for her son. His thoughts haunt him on a daily occurrence, and still he calls out to the Lord for his healing. The warmth of her embrace shimmers like the sun through her counteance.
Kneeling at the foot of his bedside; a miracle is born. He rubs his eyes, due to the sobbing of his spirit. A dove lands on his window sill, as the Holy Spirit enters the room. Yet the enemy tries him daily, he remains steadfast. His faculties though stilted, he blooms like a rose, though constantly pruned, he remains faithful. Though the world finds him an obscurity, he praises the Lord even in his storm. As the thunder and lighting protrude upon his existence, he soaks himself in the presence of God. Though trials and trouble exalt pains in his heart,his faithfulness rings true. The scriptures from a old fashioned parchment come alive due to his study of the Word. His voices concur with the wounds of his heart.

Now that the Lord has touched his mind, he can renew his thoughts. It is no overnight thing, still there are times when the enemy gets him into thinking that others are making a mockery of him. This man in this story is me. I have been associated with the qualms of doubt and persecution. I have been talked about, made fun of, and verbally assaulted by my mental illness. Yet God has used it to speak to those who would not otherwise broach a church. In my healing of my scarred emotions, I lift up Jesus who died for my healing. I did not think I would ever be touched by the Lord until I surrendered my heart and began to let him clean house. My heart was dirty and yet he looked at me and said, “I still love you, now let’s eradicate the sin from the home of your spirit.” And so I said I am now dedicated to the one I declare Lord over my life.

I feel a connection to you since my granddaughter is bi-polar so I know how you suffer. Continue to lean upon the Lord for comfort and you should make it through these tough times. God bless you.
