Power in Thy Name!

My mighty fortress revealed His power in my life on the 4th day of February 1998. I had fallen down a flight of concrete steps onto a concrete sidewalk. No one was around to assist me when awoke, after being knocked unconscious. When I did awake, the first words out my mouth were, “Oh God, I am going to die”. At that very moment the Holy Spirit (the voice of God) began to speak; (Jeremiah 33:3) Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Knowing the voice of God and obeying His word to the best of my ability, I did what the spirit of God instructed. I began to say, in JESUS name, in JESUS name, repeatedly without stopping.

The power of God brought me off the ground, placed me in my vehicle, and empowered me to drive to my home. Upon arrival at home, I had my daughter call an ambulance to transport me to the hospital. I knew by now without a doubt I was injured. I was in enormous pain, and blood was coming out my mouth.

By the time I arrived at the hospital, I was singing praises unto God. I knew everything was going to be all right, or I would be looking my Lord and Savior in the face. Either way it was ok with me.

My blood pressure was 80 some /50 and lower, and blood was all over the ER room I was placed in, according to my daughter and son. Eventually the doctor determined by X-rays, I had two broken arms. The left arm required surgery and other just careful attention until it mended. Within 3 days after the surgery the cast required removal. Less than 10 days after surgery, the doctor had to remove the pins in my arm. Within a month or so, the doctor had to remove the screws from my arm. They were working their way out my arm just as the pins did. The doctor tried plastic cast, therapy, nothing worked only the healing power of the almighty God.

Since the 4th day of February 1998, I have had a bionic arm and strength as never before, capable to do more than I could ever think. God did show me great and mighty things I did not know, for the mighty fortress Jesus Christ was my strength and ability I needed, in my time of trouble and despair.
