but at times the words come out
upside down or
backwards,
or maybe not at….
So I write.
At least when I write I can correct
my mistakes, begin again,
or forget it….
Whatever seems right,
and not have to wonder about a blundered
thought only partially expressed.
Even when I write there are times when
it amounts to nothing.
So I let it evaporate into the sky
where thoughts may take a different shape
among the clouds.
It's strange how sometimes the sky and I
seem to have so much in common.
Maybe it's because we have shared so much
over the years.
Well, here I am again,
waiting to see what shape this thought
will take,
as I wait for color to fill the sky….
But I think I need to paint it yellow,
because the sky has too many clouds
today.
