“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Ex 14:14 KJV
He hit me on the side of my head with a closed fist that seemed to be made of iron. I rocked back on my heels, grabbing futilely in the air to stay upright. Before I could steady myself, he slammed his shoulder into my midsection and I doubled over in pain. I stepped away to give me some maneuvering room. I knew his attack would be relentless. I looked up and saw that look in his eyes that told me he was coming again. I feinted right, and then opened up to my left just as he brought his huge closed hand over his head. He missed me wildly and I took the opportunity to pummel him with a short left to his back then a longer rounding right into his chest. My blows bounced off him like marbles on concrete. I stepped back again to create space. Then his eyes widened and the redness around his flaming orbs deepened to crimson.
“This isn’t over,” he snarled, spittle flying from the corners of his mouth.
“Oh, but it is. And we’ll be here,” I heard someone say, low and slow, from behind me.
