It is Sunday. We are going to church. Our hearts are fully joyous….
Like the shining sun, my thoughts are in the splendid morning of blessedness. I hear the love-breath of the Maker upon them. I cannot be stayed from happiness … and from notions that the entire creation came by Him.
Besides, my wife walks with blithy steps, her bright face a song of joyful composure. The child on her back is mum, silently walking her thoughts to private wonderments. - Both radiate harmonic fulfillment, discernible in man by God’s will. Ah, shall I cease to pray! … telling the Father of the love-scenery they awaken in me! I am bought into the World of meek abandon, lit with glorification. ‘When we reach the church the summit shall be reached!’ I hear my heart say to itself.
We walk, we talk, we smile and inter-gaze, regard burning us to happiness. And thought flies high, be-speaking of God’s genius in our creation. The inner-man in me spreads the story of adoration. … sending the heart to murmur-ful holiness. Words are not spoken! but blessings they bring within, making us swim in un-uttered prayer, uplifting the word! Ah! the inner eyes are drank … they behold the Maker … they dance obedience to His presence .…
By the roadside, the trees sigh out their glorification in the breeze, wavering rhythmically. Their green color affects my innocence with theirs. Truly they preach the word ‘and He saw what He had made was good.’
‘Yes, I shall tread ably in life! I shall not be overcome! - Is His light not sparkling from everywhere, hallowing his name! The clouds are white for him! The sky is blue thus! And the stars of the night do come by Him!’ I catch my heart in silent blessedness, singing.
Yes! I muse again … ‘I shall go to the church … His word I shall share with many; filled with the fire to prayers. Joy shall seek my heart, beatific bless embrace! – And in the night of my dreams, warmth shall send me to thanksgiving! In all I shall seen Him, beloved for eternal times….
AMEN.
