Prosperity

. (1Sa 25:6 And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast. The word prosperity owns the dictionary meaning of " to be success". When I heard this word prosperity my smiles widened and I think that it may be the same with most of us because we like to prosper. And today in almost every sermon of a minister we hear the word prosperity and later it became a branch of study in theology. Against this flow there is a world of Christianity who think that this very words is a taboo to be spoken of. The reason for this idea may be the fact that we Christians are born to suffer.

In the above Para we see different viewpoints and bird's viewpoint on prosperity. Now we should ask the creator himself that "do YOU my LORD are against my prosperity" I believe that the answer that we get will be "No". It is because, GOD wants every child of him to be prosperous and succeed in everything that he or she does. Psa 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (Kjv) from this verse we can very well assume that GOD is for the prosperity of his children and is happy about it. And there are other verses that give a clear insight to subject that we are in the process of discussion. Now lets look onto the popular verse in the bible Psa 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper (kjv). This verse gives out the blessings of man who trusts and obeys GOD. As a synopsis to the above Para, I would like to say that god is always with us for prosperity

Now that we are aware that GOD is never against our prosperity of his children. We need to study what is god's point of view towards prosperity. If I, a mortal creation of the great creator tries to define the view of god it may not reach to HIS least knowledge. But I would like to put what GOD has put in my heart. Now let us move onto the New Testament chapter of math 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV) again we see a verse of blessing but in this blessing there is condition that is applied, if we see the underlined words of the verse, Jesus says that we should first seek the kingdom of GOD, then all the things that is attributed to life in Christ and prosperity comes with it. Another thing that I would like to stress out here is that for every Christian the seeking of GOD's kingdom or to grow spiritually is not an option but an obligation. 1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is Better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. (Kjv). If we obey GOD its more beautiful in HIS sight than all the things that we put before him for e.g. the money, the position and all thing that we consider precious in this world. Every time that we breathe, every time we should move, when we run our vision Christ should grow in us.

If we see the entire history of Israel we can see GOD asking the people to show loyalty to him. Jer 22:21 I spoke unto thee in thy prosperity; but thou saidst, I will not hear. This hath been thy manner from thy youth, that thou obeyedst not my voice. (Kjv). Today the same GOD is asking us to be loyal towards HIM. If our answer is yes then I can give the guarantee there is GREAT GOD who is waiting bless and prosper us. I found this verse befitting to conclude this article Psa 122:7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

This is a very in-depth study of prosperity--thank you for all the work that you put into this. I think you will find a greater audience if you bring your entry into the real world, by giving personal example from your life or from others' lives that you have observed. Be careful of spelling and grammar errors--a careful edit should take care of that. A thoughtful entry.
