Topic: Prosperity (05/11/06)
Prosper what a great word. We all have our own meanings for prosper. To flourish, to make money, to grow, to do well. No matter what our own rendition of it is we all want it.
They’re are many examples of biblical characters in the bible that prospered through Gods will.
There is material prosperity, and there is spiritual prosperity.
Joseph prospered in Egypt. Because of his goodness, he found favor in the eyes of God, which made his Masters house prosper also.
Grace and peace can be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Along with these you can have prosperity in health and spiritual gifts.
It’s all according to which area in your life you want to prosper. The bible clearly shows us through example and scripture how we also can prosper.
The downfall of this concept though can be that we all want to prosper, but do we all want to do the will of our father for our lives.
It is only through being a good steward, or wanting to be more Christ like that we can accomplish being prosperous. Matthew 6:33 in the bible says,” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all theses things shall be added unto you.
In my own spirit I feel that to prosper is a Gift to you from our father for being a faithful and obedient child. Like when a child follows their parent’s rules and gets rewarded for it.
God wants you to prosper. He wants you to be healthy, happy, and to have what you need and want. But he also wants a close loving relationship with each and every one of us. He wants us to follow his example through Christ Jesus.
If we all would continue daily to follow Christ. If we all would help each other according to his will, then we would automatically prosper without having to ask for it.

Every word here is absolutely true! Thank you for the encouragement. The word "Bible" should be capitalized throughout, and work on finding a unique or interesting "hook" to avoid sounding overly churchified or preachy. Look for ways to put a sparkle in your writing!

I agree with everything Jan said. You have a good message here. It would make it easier to read if you skipped lines between paragraphs.
