Awww, such a bitter-sweet story. I remember the fun times at the skating rinks!

A cute story, but I don't see how it fits with the topic "slang".
You have a nice foundation. There's a good message here too. I'm not sure you hit the topic. You used some slang words, but the story wasn't about slang. The dialog feels a bit stilted and unnatural too. For example, I might tweak it a bit like this: "Elle, we gotta go. Better call your dad."
She shook her head and wiggled her eyebrows. "No way. I'm gonna ask that hunk to take us home."
This is just a quick example to show how body language and dialog can pull the reader into the story.
I like your message although it breaks my heart that girls would let a boy come between them. Keep writing. I'd also like to challenge you to read and comment on every entry in your level and at least 3 in the other two. Goid job.

This is good. Your story telling ability engages the reader. You could make it better by paying attention to using the senses of sight, etc and body language. Would make it more engaging.
Doesn't really tally with the topic though
Well-done!
Really like the story. It's sad one relationship had to end because of the beginning of another but that's how life is sometimes. I am sorry you and your cousin couldn't make amends.

Fun story to read - reminiscent of the old skating rink fun times I used to have to as a kid. Thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us.
