questions begin to rise.
Questions of uncertainty,
as His Spirit speaks so gently.
Removing all my fears and doubts,
all these questions quickly fade out.
Questions I’ve had for many years,
have now been melted into tears.
Tears that have covered my heart,
causing my spirit to break apart.
All derived from my lack of listening,
when the Lord’s Spirit, I was quenching.
Questions that only He would ask,
I was keeping in the past.
I’m gathering up all that’s Mine, He would say,
You need to take care of your past today!
Have I done as He has asked?
Taken care of my ugly past?
Have I submitted to Him all my earthly fears,
that I’ve held on to for many years?
Will you ask this question too?
We should all be preparing our hearts for our groom,
as some of us need to be making more room.
The questions that have haunted us for years,
will be washed away with our tears.
Matt. 25:10
. . .And while they went to buy,
the bridegroom came, and those
who were ready went in with him
to the wedding; and the door was
shut.

The poem would break into couplets with good effect. I would, however, rather see four line stanzas, anything to help us step back and really discern the meaning of the poem
