Manufacturers build buses in various sizes and styles. Buses may seat as few as 8 passengers or as many as 70. Most run on diesel fuel, gasoline, or liquefied petroleum gas. Some local buses operate on electric power. Some buses are articulated—that is, they consist of two sections that are connected by a flexible cover. Double-deck buses are common in many European countries, and they are often used for sightseeing. Over-the-road buses are equipped for traveling long distances. They generally have an elevated passenger deck over a baggage compartment. Such buses are also called motor coaches in North America, and coaches in the United Kingdom and other English-speaking countries.
Our country has been spoiled and thus doesn't use bus transportation often as they should. We American's have become dependent solely on automobiles.The bigger the vehicle the better we seem to like it. Due to this SUV's, Van's, pickup trucks and Hummer's have become very popular.
Gas has been pretty non-expensive for American's so we have taken sightseeing vacation's pretty much anywhere a vehicle could get us to.
I'm not going to go there right now concerning the rising gas prices.
Where I am going is to the million's who go sightseeing to know Christian religious places.
These places where pilgrims go to visit like the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. Since it’s founding, tens of thousands of pilgrims have made their way to the Shrine for prayer, reflection and healing.
Glory sightseeing Tours specialized in overseas pilgrimage sites that have a distinct Catholic and Christian interest. Some of the pilgrimage sightseeing destinations are the Holy Land, Rome, Assisi, Fatima, Lourdes, Padre Pio, Lisieux, Nevers, Paris, Seven Churches, Athens, Knock, Ireland, London, Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Madrid, Moscow, Guadalupe, Medjugorje and Shrines through out the World.
People are always looking for a sign that God is and does still do the things describe in the bible.
I believe this is a trick of Satan.
Jesus said in Matthew 24:25-27
25Behold, I have told you before.
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
We don't have to go sightseeing to find God's miraculous miracles.
Psalm 6:9 tell us,
9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
You don't have to go sightseeing to so called sacred places for God to hear and answer your prayer.
