EASTER

Easter, movable festival of the Resurrection of Christ, so says the dictionary.
What do we say as Christians and most importantly what does the world think of Easter.
Sad to say I believe Christians are in agreement with the dictionary that Easter is just a festival of the Resurrection of Christ and the world don’t even recognise that Christ ever existed.
Friends, I believe as Christians we are failing the world and God our Father will hold us accountable for our actions. Jesus Christ our saviour has promised to return when the Gospel is preached all over the earth but instead of bringing the Gospel of his death and resurrection as the only way for our Salvation we are engaged in trying to bring peace through fleshly war and inter-faith.
Easter is a great opportunity for us as Christians to explain to the heathen that we are all going to hell.
Except that Jesus Christ who is the living God and creator of the world died to save us from hell. Those of us who accepted him as our saviour will be with him in eternal bliss, which is Heaven and those who reject him will be in eternal damnation, which is hell.
We are spiritual beings and our spirits don’t die, that is why God who loves us so much came and die in our place for us to be with him.
The question is do we love God enough in order for us to stop squabbling among ourselves and go into the world for Jesus sake?
We allow money, fear of hurting another by speaking the truth, religious differences, political correctness and so on to hinder us from the true love and Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the mean time souls are going to hell in droves, poverty rampant and endless wars.
We have EASTER to prove that God cannot be blamed.

This article illustrates the saying, "He died for us so we could live for Him." But most live as though "He died for us so we could live for us." Sometimes we need to be confronted and take a long, hard look at our priorities. But we do have this assurance in John 6:37, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me. . ." He knew that you could witness to some until you were blue in the face and they would neve respond, but ALL that the Father had fore-ordained to be adopted into His family would come to Him. We are given the great commission, but in the end it's all in God's hands. We are vessels He has chosen to work through, but God's will be done.
