The injustices in this world are enough to make anyone angry. That is if you believe in someone higher than your belief in self. That may sound profound but if you think about it, you will understand.
Once upon a time, your word was all one needed but boy has times changed. Have you ever hired someone to do a job? They did nost of the job and of course, they swore they would return so I paid them in good faith before the job was finished. They went on their merry way never to return. Their word meant nothing and here you stand feeling so angry that if you had them you would literally shake the daylights out of them.
One day I was reading my bible about homosexuality. A few days later, someone told me something that was contrary to Gods word regarding this issue. I showed Gods word to them and they politely told me that I was asinine and did not have a clue. Would that make you angry? How can people with a grain of sense argue over that? Gods word is explicit and God speaks plainly. You may not like what God says but that does not change the sin. Sin is sin and we are all sinners. There is no one without sin myself included. Do I judge people? I try very hard not to because by the way you judge others God judges you likewise.
When you read Gods word about how widows should be treated a churches response should be the same as Gods word which is as follows: I Timothy 5:9 says, "Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need." In addition, the book of James says it so succinctly. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." Granted, some churches do abide by Gods word and do take care of widows. Unfortunately, other churches give lip service and tell the widow they can take care of the yard, clean house and everything else that taking care of a household entails. That is as far as it goes.
Looking at all the injustices in the world makes your hair stand on end. How sad that we have forgotten Gods golden rule. Love your neighbor as yourself. This old world is on a downward spiral or a slippery slope into obilivion. We do have hope though, that hope is Christ, and no matter how angry the injustices in this world makes me I have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. Gods one and only begotten Son.
